The Class Agent program is designed to promote loyalty, advocacy and involvement among Penn Medicine alumni. By strengthening lifelong relationships between alumni and their alma mater, the program strives to cultivate more meaningful personal and financial commitments to Penn Medicine.
What Is the Role of a Class Agent?
Class agents are responsible for maintaining ongoing communication with their classmates regarding all facets of Penn Medicine:
Alumni events and programs
Penn Medicine news
News and information about classmates
The status of the class scholarship fund
Reunion plans
Throughout the year, this communication may include letters, e-mails, telephone calls and handwritten cards. Class agents serve as the essential link between their class and the Penn Medicine Office of Alumni Development and Alumni Relations. They act as a resource to recruit volunteers for their class reunion committees, participate in events that cultivate relationships among Penn Medicine alumni, and encourage involvement from other classmates.
If your class is absent a class agent and you would like to volunteer, or if you know who your class’s representative is, please contact the Office of Alumni Development and Alumni Relations.
